The film was created by filmmaker Michael Gracie from multiple interviews he recorded with Robbie Williams over a period of a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, United States. While there are familiar tropes, it dives deeper into thematic material than you might expect
The visual creativity shines through with a touch of fantasy elements while flawlessly exploring Williams’ mental health. It has the balls to do things other biopics can’t and feels so seamlessly integrated that you don’t think twice about it.
